Road to Goodison Year 2 Football Festival 20th October 2016

Eleven teams took part again in the Year 2 Road to Goodison football festival at Priestley College in the afternoon of the 20thOctober. The eleven teams were split up into three different groups with the top two from each group along with the best two third places qualifying into the knockout stage, with the end goal being qualification to finch farm. There were some excellent talent on display from all teams as we seen some strong tackles, great control and a positive atmosphere amongst everybody. All games were once again played in the right spirit with every game being a very tight with nine games only being won by one goal. Oughtrington qualified from group 1 with maximum points as well as Stockton Heath from group 2, who also did not concede a goal in the group stage.
